What's up?

The sky! LOL....I don't know where I heard this, but its kinda funny!

What really am up to? Well, not much, really.  I've been really really busy with work and school, that's pretty much my life right now.  For the past three weeks, I've been studying like crazy for my two midterms and its finally over, but I'm still not over the stressful feeling I have with me.  The lack of sleep has made me a bit slow.  Now that exams are over, I have to get ready for my final business report and assignments.  I don't think I'll have much life until the Christmas holidays.  I finally realize how much of a difference there is between college and university.  When I was in college, I would probably just need a day to get ready for my exam, and I mean, that's really alot of my time, since its very hard for me to devote an entire day for studies.  For these midterms I just had, I spent 2+ days on studies.  Can you believe it?  For my business modelling course, I had to read the entire book, yes the WHOLE BOOK! and notes, and additional articles etc etc....and finally its over.  I think maybe because I'm not a business person, or I just don't have the business background, or just simply that I don't have that business sense in my blood, it takes me quite a bit of time to make sense of it.  I am kind of afraid that I won't be able to achieve what I aimed for, that's hybrid of business and technology.  Programming is super easy to understand compare to all these business concepts.  The one good thing about these business courses, is that they have helped me improve my communication skills tremendously.  Not that I'm making a big deal of myself, but I've noticed that my communication skills have improved alot.  Well, lets put it this way,  I've improved alot, because that's one of my resolution for the upcoming year, therefore I tend to pay so close attention to people when they talk, the words they use, their body languages.  I specially pay more attention to my professors and my team lead.  Yes, I think my team lead is a super smart guy.  His processing speed is tremendously fast.  I have to play very close attention when he walk me through the spec,  otherwise I might not be able to follow.  The way he thinks, its just so so logical and fast.  Something I really need to learn from.  Being able to do the work is just not enough.  Being able to do the work and able to communicate it accross EFFECITIVELY and EFFICIENTLY is my goal.  I know examples are the best teachers, but sometimes, there's really no room for examples, and that's when it all relies on wordings and ability to converse and communicate.

Aside from work and school, there's really not much to say, because that's what my life is made up of at this stage.  The swelligs have gone down alot, just still some remaining on the cheek and nose area.  Ah, I might go in for another small procedure at the end of December, most probably before Christmas.  I hope everything is good and works out smoothly.

What did I do for my birthday this year?  Nothing pretty much.  I was very swollen at that time, and had bands on my teeth, so couldn't each much.  I had a celebration, sort of, at the beginning of October.  J took me to a steakhouse, but I could only have a salmon steak, not a beef steak; well, it was better than nothing.  Oh, I had a really big surprise this year, yeah, I was really really surprised haha.  I got some flowers from Tommy on the day of my birthday delivered to my office.  Omg, they were gorgeous!  Lovely lovely!  Here they are:

Aren't they lovely, especially the red one. Having flowers in your office really makes your day Cool
