Lately, I've been addicted to youtube. I've been watching youtube videos days and nights, omg, I'm so serious! And I've been so into makeups; the two main channels I watch are:
Michelle Phan
Xteeener
I really can't recall what catched my attention. Its just one day, out of the blue, I start searching about makeup tutorials on youtube.com; oh I remember, it was for my work's Christmas' parties. I didn't know much about make up, therefore I needed a hand. Youtube is your saviour whenever you need help. So I went to youtube and started searching and came accross Xteener's channel. Her makeup really catched my eyes, so I decided to give it a try and started buying some of the products she recommend and used in her videos and started the experiment. Well, I couldn't get it as nice as hers, but I've learned alot. I know, it takes practice! I was satisfied with my make up for the Christmas' dinner but not for the cocktail. The cockatail one came out really nice but was awful for cameras, it made my eyes looked so small, ewwww. The ones for the dinner was a bit better, but I still think there's still plenty of room for improvement.
I've been off since Dec 15 and will be back to work on Jan 4, 2010; yeah, a good 3 weeks to relax. So I've finished Xteener's channel videos and did another seached and found Michelle Phan. She's a professional makeup artists. I envy these girls so much. They are very talented, and really know how to reveal their inner beauty. Michelle Phan is very very knowledgeable, since she's not just into make up but also healthy diets. I totally agree with her that beauty isn't just makeup. It has to complement with inner health. Take a look at their channels, these girls are awesome. I especially like Michelle Phan's quote: "It's beauty that captures your attention, personality which captures your heart.", this is soooo true. I rarely wear make up, because I always had that thought in mind that make up can damage your skin; but after watching their videos, I kinda changed my mind. I kinda want to try some natural makeup and see how it goes. If make up can bring your inner beauty and confident, why not try; it doesn't hurt
