Today's was the 1st team doing our annual company bbq event. The food was all gone when I ran downstairs. We usually get a page before the event starts, but this time, they didn't even bother in paging us, so we were waiting and waiting upstairs. By the time we know, the food was all gone. We ended up going to Little India for lunch. I was looking forward to this bbq, but...what a disappointment. Our interactive bbq was a great success last year, hehe as always, I'm very proud of my team. This year, they changed the plan a bit. Instead of having dept teamed up, they randomly picked team members and judges. My team is doing bbq on Aug 24, but I'm away then. Hope they can do a great job.
I just finished upgrading to BlogEngine.net 1.5 but it seems that email part still isn't working. I would need to dig into their code to figure out what's wrong with it. When I updated the settings and tested the connection, everything seems fine but it doesn't work when I put it to work. I wanted to change to another theme, I actually did, but reverted it back to Girl Geek, donno why. I think its the pink that's really attracting me. Its already 9:20pm and I'm still at work. Poor J, he'll have to drive all the way from Newmarket to downtown to pick me up. I kinda feel guilty. Maybe I should treat him to dinner, but how? I only have $20 with me LOL...I think I can afford 2candine big mac LOL. The poor little guy must be exhausted. The ac at home is not working and he's been running up and down and getting people in to fix it and its still not working properly. Thanks God it hasn't been hot these couple days, otherwise, I donno how I would survive. J's been very good lately. I've been very busy with exams and assignments, he's been helping out alot. He's been doing some house chores, groceries and taking care of my dinners and breakfasts. I think I should thank him for his hard work. His job is very tiring and after that he's still needs to take care of my meals, I feel like a little girl being taken care by her dad.
